Kanye West had all four of his kids by his side at his recent Yeezy fashion show.

The rapper, 49, who legally changed his name to Ye in 2021, was photographed alongside all four of his kids in a few rare photos at the Thursday, Nov. 5 fashion show for his brand Yeezy in Los Angeles, Calif. West could be seen smiling as he had his arms around his two older kids, North, 13, and Saint, 10, while his two younger kids, Chicago, 10, and Psalm, 7, posed in front of him.

North could be seen with her signature blue hair, which fell almost to her feet. She also wore blue contacts and bleached her eyebrows, added a few piercings in her cheeks and sported an all-black outfit.

Meanwhile, Saint, Psalm and Chicago all opted for shades of beige and grey, wearing sweatshirts and jackets. They stood together and posed for a few pictures as they supported their dad.

The rapper has been widely criticized in recent years following multiple public antisemitic comments, but he has attempted to publicly distance himself from them this past year. In an open letter funded by his Yeezy brand and published in The Wall Street Journal last January, he said that his hurtful remarks and erratic behavior were caused by bipolar disorder.

He wrote in the open letter, “I regret and am deeply mortified by my actions in that state, and am committed to accountability, treatment, and meaningful change. It does not excuse what I did, though. I am not a Nazi or an antisemite. I love Jewish people.”

“I’m not asking for sympathy, or a free pass, though I aspire to earn your forgiveness. I write today simply to ask for your patience and understanding as I find my way home,” West’s letter concluded.

In author Jonathan Van Meter’s new book Citizen Kim: The Woman Who Created the Future, Kardashian, 46, shared her process for shielding her four kids from harmful news stories or segments about her or her ex-husband.

“My whole household knows what a ‘lockdown’ means if I text it,” said Kardashian in the book. “Like, ‘We’re on lockdown.’ No TVs, just movies. No radio, just plug in a phone for music in the car. Not even, like, Sirius XM, because they talk about current events in real time. It’s like, They don’t have to be a party to this.”

Elsewhere in the book, the SKIMS co-founder opened up about her co-parenting relationship with West, expressing that she worries about the famed rapper “all the time.”

“Oh, I worry about [Kanye] all day,” Kardashian shared. “All the time. That’s the father of my kids, I’ll never not worry about him. And that’s a big burden of having kids with someone who you don’t necessarily get along with. My kids would never know that.”

“I do everything in my power to forget about all the negative things that happened,” she continued. “I have to be realistic, and my therapist definitely tells me, ‘Your boundaries have to go up,’ but we manage to co-parent without too much conflict.”
