England cricket great Monty Panesar has claimed that it would have been 'harsh' for Virat Kohli to receive a ban for his shoulder on Aussie Test debutant Sam Konstas, even after the ex-India captain's lenient sanction was slammed by fans online. Kohli accepted a Level One sanction from the ICC that will see him be handed one demerit point and fined 20 per cent of his match fee. The sanction relates to a flashpoint during the opening day of the Boxing Day Test, in which the 36-year-old appeared to make a beeline for 19-year-old Konstas before walking into him with his shoulder.
